Our mission is simple: to help empower businesses owned by past and present members of the United States Armed Forces and their families to grow, hire fellow veterans, and give back to the military and veteran community.
Helping Veteran Owned Businesses Grow
Veteran Owned Business was created to bring greater attention, visibility, and support to small businesses owned and operated by veterans, active duty military, reservists, service disabled veterans, military spouses, and veteran spouses.
By helping more people find and support these businesses, our goal is to strengthen the military business community and create more opportunities for those who have served, continue to serve, or stand beside those who do.
Encouraging Veterans to Hire Veterans
As veteran owned businesses and SDVOSBs grow, many reach the point where they are ready to hire, expand, subcontract, partner, or build stronger teams.
Through our Veterans Hire Veterans initiative, we encourage military business owners to consider fellow veterans, transitioning service members, reservists, National Guard members, military spouses, and others connected to the military community when employment and business opportunities become available.
Giving Back to the Military Community
We also believe successful veteran owned businesses can play a powerful role in giving back. Whether through donations, sponsorships, mentoring, employment, volunteering, or community support, every act of service helps strengthen the larger military and veteran family.
Our hope is that growing veteran owned businesses will continue supporting organizations and efforts that directly impact veterans, active duty service members, military families, homeless veterans, PTSD awareness programs, Stand Downs, veteran nonprofits, and other meaningful causes.
